Forest Grove Senior and Community Center

What’s happening:

The Forest Grove Senior & Community Center (FGSCC) Kitchen remodeling project begins!

The City of Forest Grove City Manager, Jesse Vanderzanden informed the Board of Director Chairman, Jeff Duyck Monday June 18th, of the long awaited kitchen remodeling projects start date! The project demolition will begin Monday July 2nd project completion date is November 18th 2018. Until MOWP have something in place to provide lunch for our Seniors, the Center would like to offer a simple cold lunch on Thursdays and Fridays of every week. In an effort to keep some sense of normalcy during this interruption, we are looking for sponsors to provide a cold lunch or the ingredients for such a meal. The importance of getting out in the community and socializing with friends is vital to the health and wellbeing of our patrons. If you are interested in helping provide lunches to our seniors for this short time period, please call the FGSCC at 503-357-2021. Our office is open Mon-Fri from 9am-3pm. We can look forward to hearing from you!

Our History

Welcome to the Forest Grove Senior & Community Center. Since 1972, we have provided recreational, educational and wellness activities for seniors and community members. We also provide client services and outreach for frail, low-income and homebound seniors, handicapped and the disabled in our community. Our center, located near the center of historic Forest Grove, Oregon, is a place where all members of the community can gather to meet friends, attend events and participate in classes and clubs. We also host community gatherings and local civic club events.
