What’s happening:

The Forest Grove Senior & Community Center (FGSCC) Kitchen remodeling project nears completion!

It’s been five months and the end is in sight – the temporary wall which has shielded us from the work being done is down and the finishing touches are being completed.  This week the new kitchen equipment is being installed and we are all so eager to see the return of the kitchen!  Word is that by the end of the end we will be back in business (kitchen business that is – the Center has and continues to remain open during this remodeling project).

We expect Meals on Wheels People (MOWP) to return to the Center before the year’s end and resume lunch service.  In the meantime they are still serving hot meals out the dining room at the Sonrise Church (2835 19th Avenue, Forest Grove, OR)
Mark your calendars for January 4th as we resume our First Friday Dinners.  In January we will be serving Stuffed Chicken Breast with scalloped potatoes, vegetable, roll and caramel apply crisp.  Tickets are $10 in advance or $11 at the door.  For more information please call us at 503-357-2021.

Please call us to receive our monthly newsletter. check our Facebook page ( Grove Senior Center) for updates. Office hours are Mon-Fri from 9am-3pm 503-357-2021.

Our History

Welcome to the Forest Grove Senior & Community Center. Since 1972, we have provided recreational, educational and wellness activities for seniors and community members. We also provide client services and outreach for frail, low-income and homebound seniors, handicapped and the disabled in our community. Our center, located near the center of historic Forest Grove, Oregon, is a place where all members of the community can gather to meet friends, attend events and participate in classes and clubs. We also host community gatherings and local civic club events.
